Tąjrą which means refrain and is pronounced TI-RAH
was started in 2002 to reflect the fusion of musical creativity
that had emerged in Sardinia over the previous twenty odd years.
I was concerned that this musical expressions would be lost
if they were not recorded. I travelled all over Sardinia listening
to music in the most unlikely yet often in chanting places
from roman amphitheatre to small smoky clubs.
These albums are the result of those magical evenings.
